About The Role

With the support of the Meetings Manager, lead in delivering a smooth day-to-day running of the new Meetings offer at Rheged. This will include the following:

  • You will be the main point of contact on the day for our Meetings clients from arrival to departure ensuring excellent customer experience and all expectations and requirements are fulfilled to the highest standard.
  • Working closely with the catering and operations team, you will coordinate the day to day running of our meeting spaces, ensuring delegate numbers, catering requirements and any other specific needs are communicated to ensure successful delivery in line with client expectations. From coordinating bookings in our boardrooms and largest meeting space to setting up/refreshing and clearing down of our public meeting space in “Gather”.
  • You will offer customers on-hand support and deliver the smoothest service and attention to detail from setting up the meeting space, serving food and drinks and offering technical support and guidance where necessary.
  • Administrative support in selling rooms and checking final details/requirements with our clients may also occasionally be required.
  • Support the Operations team in closing down and locking the building in line with the company procedure
You will also support the Cinema Host and Gallery Manager to ensure smooth operational delivery in their departments where needed, which includes:
  • Assisting with ingesting and testing of films, operating projection equipment, seating customers, clearing cinema, managing standards to a high level, and offering excellent customer service throughout.Gallery
  • Support in daily running of our rolling exhibitions and selling of art (both in the shop and online) and support in any administrative duties and installations of our new exhibitions where necessary.

Previous experience working in a tourism, leisure or hospitality environment and a relevant qualification would be an advantage.
