Our chefs are responsible for preparing fresh local ingredients to produce and present our own dishes just as you would make at home. You will be key in delivering a smooth kitchen service through breakfast, lunch and dinner and ensuring our high standards are maintained and the best- tasting and quality food is on offer. From the kitchen you will add the finishing touches and flair that create unique memories for our customers through a delicious food experience.
Your responsibilities;
- It begins with preparation and planning. You will ensure food is ready and available to serve to our customers throughout the day
- Following our seasonal recipes, you will ensure that food is cooked and presented to specification, checking levels and demand to ensuring we only offer fresh quality products
- You will maintain a clean, tidy and safe kitchen, to ensure an excellent working environment.
- Responsible for following the food hygiene and HACCP system and utilising due diligence where possible to drive standards.
- Communicate and escalate any product issues or concerns to your Kitchen Manager to help keep the flow of delicious food available
- Embrace learning! You will undertake any further training required, whether refreshing your knowledge or developing your skills.
- Share your knowledge to get the best out of your team. You will help coach and train new colleagues and apprentices
- Communicate new menu launches and kitchen changes to the customer facing teams
We have a part time opportunities for a 2 shift or 3 shift per week contracts. (14.5-21.75 hours per week)
