Stock Controller
£8.90 per hour

About The Role

Attention to detail and analytical skills are key in this role to ensure stock levels are appropriate giving customers the opportunity to buy what they want and that it’s there when they need it.  Orders and stock counting must be completed accurately and on time to maintain consistency and communicating any issues is high on the priority list. You will work closely with the Farmshop managers to ensure ordering is in line with trading levels and to minimise risk of wastage.  

Your responsibilities will include;
  • Supporting the operational team to process stock for customer demand and manage the process for any discrepancies
  • Engage with your team and manager’s to communicate any stock issues
  • Supporting the investigation of any stock discrepancies to identify issues and maintain accurate stock records
  • Maintain a safe working environment by continually following our food safety and health and safety procedures.
  • Supporting your team by rolling up your sleeves and helping during peak times – this could be on the till or replenishing products 

About You

A positive ‘can do’ mindset, great communication skills and a moderate degree of IT literacy are essential for this role as well as the ability to work independently
