**Shifts will primarily start from 6am working Monday to Friday, occasional weekends may be required and additional hours may be available working evenings**
You will work as part of the friendly team in our production kitchen, based at Rheged in Penrith, who are responsible making the pies and sausage rolls famously sold in our sister sites Gloucester, Cairn Lodge and Tebay Services.
You will be required to help in all areas of food production in line with company standards and to recipe specifications as well as assisting with packaging, labelling and dispatch of products on a daily basis.
You will be required to assist with all aspects of kitchen cleanliness, including the pot wash as well as offering assistance to the Stock Controller with receiving, checking and storing deliveries correctly whilst ensuring effective stock rotation.
Hours will primarily be from 6am, working 8.5 hours shift with 45 mins unpaid break, 38.75 hours per week. Hours will be primarily worked Monday to Friday although extra hours may also be available and evening work and occasional weekends may be required.
