You will be the head of your extended family within your team who will look to you to be approachable, organised and motivational. Leading by example will be key to ensuring your colleagues have the same attention to detail and respect for their roles producing the delicious products for our customers as you do.
· Passion your knowledge to your team, help them learn the products and how to produce them on a daily basis – right first time and ensure you keep learning by undertaking any training deemed necessary by your line manager
· Always maximise productivity by prioritising and allocating daily tasks to your team
· Manage the work to set levels of productivity and balance to ensure high quality is maintained
· Is the stock low? Check throughout the day to ensure replenishment is taking place so all our wonderful products are available for our customers
· Low or high sales? Know your product sales and adjust the production to the needs our customers
· Work together with the other Catering teams when you need to using best practice,flexibility and the initiative to incorporate new ideas or activities depending what the day may bring you
· Value your stock controller, guide and support them in all aspects of ordering and stock movements as necessary
· Always keep clear communication lines open within your team and between departments to ensure awareness of product movement
· Work with your team to ensure the Cold Preparation Kitchen area are maintained to a high standard, working within food safety guidelines by cleaning and maintaining equipment daily
