This is a hybrid role working both front of house in the cafe, delighting our customers with your knowledge of our menu and offering exceptional customer service, as well as helping to maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and using our potwash machine.
- It all begins with preparation and presentation. You will ensure that the café is all set to go, spotlessly clean, ensuring products are available and immaculately displayed in line with our visual merchandising and food safety standards. You will also need to help ensure that the kitchen has a constant supply of kitchen equipment.
- When you are front of house you will be offering all our customers a warm welcome, accurately making food and drink orders and processing payments correctly and efficiently as well as making sure the workplace is clean, tidy and safe whilst following all our health and safety procedures.
- You will take care to check all food is fresh, rotated and replenished throughout the day to ensure customers are encouraged to buy our freshly prepared products, as well as ensuring all food safety paperwork is completed in line with our policy
- Ensure to offer up to date knowledge and advice, including allergen information, on our food and home-cooked meals straight from our kitchens.
- Check that customers are seated comfortably, and tables are clean and clear and help with all weekly cleaning tasks to maintain hygiene in the Kitchen.
- Attention to the small details is key to ensure brilliant customer service. Resolve problems yourself or with your team to find a way that exceeds their expectations.
Weekend working included with typical shifts from 9am - 5.30pm or 9.30am - 5.30pm with potential for occasional evening support.
