You will lead our kitchen team and help us achieve consistently high standards of food production and presentation, in line with company standards, meeting the demands of the business in order to delight our customers with freshly prepared meals to send them on their onward journey feeling satisfied and with great memories of their visit
You will;
- Keep our customers fed and happy by ensuring that food output is to the agreed levels, timescale and specification
- Prioritise and delegate all cooking tasks in a timely manner in order to meet the needs of our customers – maintaining availability at all times –following recipes and the daily schedule/production plan
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe environment for staff, customers and contractors
- Work together with the larger catering team where necessary, using flexibility and your initiative to change your own activities to meet different circumstances
- Share your knowledge to your team and lead by example to maximise the full sales potential from the food counters to delight our customers
- Communicate and escalate any product issues or concerns to your manager to help keep the flow of delicious food available for our customers
- Validate and maintain company record sheets as appropriate and in accordance with HACCP and our Food Safety Management system
- Don’t stop learning, undertake any further training as deemed necessary by your line manager and pass it on to your team
