We have 2 shift patterns available:
38.75 hrs per week working 6am - 2.30pm (Mon-Fri)
40 hrs per week working 5.30am - 4.15pm (4 shifts over 5 days between Mon-Fri)
Additional hours may be available and occasional weekends may be required
You will work as part of the friendly team in our production kitchen, based at Rheged in Penrith, who are responsible making the pies and sausage rolls famously sold in our sister sites Gloucester, Cairn Lodge and Tebay Services.
You will be required to help in all areas of food production in line with company standards and to recipe specifications as well as assisting with packaging and labelling.
You will be required to assist with all aspects of kitchen cleanliness, including the pot wash as well as offering assistance to the Stock Controller with receiving, checking and storing deliveries correctly whilst ensuring effective stock rotation.
