It all starts in our kitchen, whether breakfast, lunch or dinner you are responsible for preparing fresh local ingredients to produce and present our own dishes just as you would make at home. You will be key in delivering a smooth kitchen service ensuring our high standards are maintained and the best- tasting and quality food is on offer. From the kitchen you will add the finishing touches and flair that create unique memories for our customers through a delicious food experience.
Your responsibilities;
- It begins with preparation and planning. Working with your customer facing colleagues you will ensure food is ready and available to serve to our customers throughout the day
- Following our seasonal recipes, you will ensure that food is cooked and presented to specification, checking levels and demand to ensure we only offer fresh quality products
- You will maintain a clean, tidy and safe kitchen, willing to scrub in whenever needed to ensure an excellent working environment.
- Responsible for the food hygiene systems you will ensure the kitchen is compliant to deliver the best quality dishes and complete all relevant company records and HACCP paperwork
- Offer up to date knowledge and advice on all our food to customers and colleagues, to ensure to help maximise the full sales potential from the food counters to delight our customers
- Communicate and escalate any product issues or concerns to your team leader to help keep the flow of delicious food available
- Embrace learning! You will undertake any further training required, whether refreshing your knowledge or developing your skills.
- Share your knowledge to get the best out of your team. You will help coach and train new colleagues and communicate new menu launches and changes to the customer facing teams
- Work together with the larger catering team, using flexibility and your initiative to change your own activities to meet different circumstances
